Trip Story

The reminiscence of the glorious victory of the unassuming Vietnam people against the imperialist super powers is omnipresent even in the touristic experiences to this quiet and verdant land on China Sea. The war prisons, the humble residence of the President Ho, the incredible Cu Chi Tunnel go hand in hand with the gorgeous architectural masterpieces of past and present. After all, all these are the mastery of the Vietnamese mass! And, as if to accolade them, the nature has poured all her beautiful bounty to Vietnam. The diversity of natural beauty surprises every traveller. Due to its unique location, the sea on the Hallong Bay or the mountain peaks of Sapa are covered with charming mists all the year round, while it is always warm monsoon beauty at the Southern deltas and sea-side. For the nature lovers, there are typically Asian fertile farmlands and fruit orchards, meandering rivers guarded by mossy limestone cliffs, sunny golden beaches, and moist limestone caves to explore. And for the history buffs, there are ruined Hindu temples, medieval Chinese palaces, and colonial French chateaux which are equally impressive. The culinary tradition of Vietnam also represents its history and culture– the food here is rice-based, mixed with variety of fresh vegetables and meat, and prepared without any over-cooking or frying: sophisticated and pure like the hearts of ever-smiling Vietnamese people.
